2 Chronicles 15:14

And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice
As not being ashamed of the oath they took, and that there might be witnesses of it, and that it might be clear they did not equivocate in but expressed themselves in plain words:

and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets;
showing that the oath was not extorted from them unwillingly, but that they took it with the utmost cheerfulness, and with all the demonstrations of joy and gladness imaginable.

12 Y entraron en pacto de que buscarían al SEÑOR el Dios de sus padres, con todo su corazón y con toda su alma

13 y que cualquiera que no buscara al SEÑOR el Dios de Israel, moriría, grande o pequeño, hombre o mujer

14 Y juraron al SEÑOR con gran voz y gritos, al son de las trompetas y de los shofarot

15 De este juramento todos los de Judá se alegraron; porque con todo su corazón lo juraban, y con toda su voluntad le buscaban; y fue hallado de ellos; y les dio el SEÑOR reposo por todas partes

16 Y aun a Maaca madre del rey Asa, él mismo la depuso que no fuera reina, porque había hecho un ídolo en el bosque; y Asa deshizo su ídolo, y lo desmenuzó, y lo quemó en el arroyo de Cedrón
