32 Porque de Jerusalén saldrá remanente, y del Monte de Sion escapadura; el celo del SEÑOR de los ejércitos hará esto

Isaiah 37:32

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant
The Targum is,

``the rest of the righteous;''

the same as before; who, when the city should be free from the enemy, would go out of it, and return to their former settlements, in the several parts of Judea; a type of those who went out of Jerusalem with the Gospel of Christ, and spread it not only in Judea, but in the Gentile world:

and they that escape out of Mount Zion;
the same persons, differently described; some of whom were in the city of Jerusalem, and others in the fort of Zion, but departed from hence when the siege was broke up. The Targum is,

``and the escaped of them that confirm the law out of Mount Zion;''

the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this:
his concern for his own honour and glory, and his great love to his people, shall engage him to perform all that is here promised and foretold. The Targum is,

``by the word of the Lord of hosts this shall be done.''

30 Y esto te será por señal: Comerás este año lo que nace de suyo, y el año segundo también lo que nace de suyo; y el año tercero sembraréis, y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis su fruto

31 Y lo que hubiere escapado de la casa de Judá, tornará a echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba

32 Porque de Jerusalén saldrá remanente, y del Monte de Sion escapadura; el celo del SEÑOR de los ejércitos hará esto

33 Por tanto, así dice el SEÑOR acerca del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella; no vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado sobre ella baluarte

34 Por el camino que vino, se tornará; y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice el SEÑOR
