Judges 11:15

And said unto him
By his messengers:

thus saith Jephthah;
in a majestic style, as governor of Israel:

Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of
Ammon;
they were charged not to take any, nor did they take any that belonged to any of these countries, or that was then in the possession of either of them, ( Deuteronomy 2:9 Deuteronomy 2:19 ) what they did take was in the hands of Sihon and Og, and they had obtained it by conquest, and so no more belonging to either of these.

13 Y el rey de los amonitas respondió a los embajadores de Jefté: Por cuanto Israel tomó mi tierra, cuando subió de Egipto, desde Arnón hasta Jaboc y el Jordán; por tanto, devuélvela ahora en paz

14 Y Jefté volvió a enviar otros embajadores al rey de los amonitas

15 diciéndole: Jefté ha dicho así: Israel no tomó tierra de Moab, ni tierra de los hijos de Amón

16 mas subiendo Israel de Egipto, anduvo por el desierto hasta el mar Bermejo, y llegó a Cades

17 Entonces Israel envió embajadores al rey de Edom, diciendo: Yo te ruego que me dejes pasar por tu tierra. Mas el rey de Edom no los escuchó. Envió también al rey de Moab; el cual tampoco quiso; se quedó por tanto Israel en Cades
