42 y yo me acordaré de mi pacto con Jacob, y asimismo de mi pacto con Isaac, y también de mi pacto con Abraham me acordaré; y haré memoria de la tierra

Leviticus 26:42

Then i will also remember my covenant with Jacob
Would fulfil and make good all that he had promised in covenant with Jacob, and his posterity: the account begins with him, and rises upwards to Abraham, whereas it usually begins with Abraham, and descends to Jacob; no sufficient reason is given for this alteration, though several are attempted by the Jewish writers ^F5:

and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham
will I remember;
which chiefly respects the multiplication of their seed, the continuance of them, and the Messiah springing from them; which is the mercy promised to these fathers, and the principal part of the covenant made with them, and which was remembered and performed when God visited and redeemed his people by him, ( Luke 1:68-73 ) ;

and I will remember the land;
the land of Judea, and return the Jews to it, and make it fruitful, after he had given it rest from tillage for many years, which was fulfilled at their return from the captivity of Babylon.

40 Y confesarán su iniquidad, y la iniquidad de sus padres, por su prevaricación con que prevaricaron contra mí; y también porque anduvieron conmigo en oposición

41 y que también habré andado con ellos en contra, y los habré metido en la tierra de sus enemigos; y entonces se humillará su corazón incircunciso, y rogarán por su iniquidad

42 y yo me acordaré de mi pacto con Jacob, y asimismo de mi pacto con Isaac, y también de mi pacto con Abraham me acordaré; y haré memoria de la tierra

43 Que la tierra estará desamparada de ellos, y reposará sus sábados, estando desierta a causa de ellos; y ellos rogarán por su iniquidad; por cuanto menospreciaron mis derechos, y tuvo el alma de ellos fastidio de mis decretos

44 Y aun con todo esto, estando ellos en tierra de sus enemigos, yo no los desecharé, ni los abominaré para consumirlos, invalidando mi pacto con ellos; porque YO SOY su Dios
