Levítico 4:16 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 16-21. And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the
bullock's blood
That is, the chief priest, as the Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan explain it:

to the tabernacle of the congregation;
as he brought the blood of his own bullock, ( Leviticus 4:5 ) from hence to the ( Leviticus 4:16-22 ) an account is given of the same rites to be observed in the sin offering, for the congregation, as for the anointed priest; (See Gill on Leviticus 4:6) (See Gill on Leviticus 4:7) (See Gill on Leviticus 4:12).

Levítico 4:16 In-Context

14 luego que fuere entendido el pecado que cometieron, la congregación ofrecerá un novillo como el pecado, y lo traerán delante del tabernáculo del testimonio
15 Y los ancianos de la congregación pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del novillo delante del SEÑOR; y degollarán aquel novillo delante del SEÑOR
16 Y el sacerdote ungido meterá de la sangre del novillo en el tabernáculo del testimonio
17 Y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la misma sangre, y rociará siete veces delante del SEÑOR delante del velo
18 Y de aquella sangre pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar que está delante del SEÑOR en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y derramará toda la sangre al cimiento del altar del holocausto, que está a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio
