Leviticus 9:8

Aaron therefore went unto the altar
Of burnt offering, freely and cheerfully, at the direction and introduction of Moses, who acted in this affair in the name of the Lord:

and slew the calf of the sin [offering], which [was] for himself;
which was to be offered first, as it was proper it should, that, atonement being made for his sins, his after burnt offering might be accepted with God, and he be fit to offer the sacrifices of the people: the calf he slew on the north side of the altar, where all the sin offerings and burnt offerings were slain; see ( Leviticus 1:11 ) ( 6:25 ) .

6 Entonces Moisés dijo: Esto es lo que mandó el SEÑOR que hagáis, y la gloria del SEÑOR se os aparecerá

7 Y dijo Moisés a Aarón: Acércate al altar, y ofrezca tu pecado, y tu holocausto, y haz la reconciliación por ti y por el pueblo; ofrezca también la ofrenda del pueblo, y haz la reconciliación por ellos; como ha mandado el SEÑOR

8 Entonces se acercó Aarón al altar; y degolló el becerro de su propio pecado

9 Y los hijos de Aarón le trajeron la sangre; y él mojó su dedo en la sangre, y untó con ella los cuernos del altar, y derramó la demás sangre al cimiento del altar

10 Y el sebo y los riñones y el redaño del hígado, del pecado, hizo perfume, como el SEÑOR lo había mandado a Moisés
