1 Chronicles 2:15

Thou shalt also take one ram
One of the two he was bid to take, ( Exodus 29:1 ) ;

and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram;
confessing their sins, acknowledging their guilt, and by this act transferring the same to the ram, which was to be a burnt offering, and was typical of the imputation of sin to Christ, as before observed.

1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him.
4 And Tamar, his daughter-in-law, gave birth unto him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5 The sons of Pharez: Hezron and Hamul.
