Jeremiah 52:1

1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

Jeremiah 52:1

Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign,
&c.] Whose name was Mattaniah; and who was set on the throne by the king of Babylon, in the room of his brother's son Jehoiachin, ( 2 Kings 24:17 2 Kings 24:18 ) ; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem;
so that he was thirty two years of age when he was taken and carried captive into Babylon: and his mother's name [was] Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah;

1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

2 And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

3 For because of the anger of the LORD against Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out of his presence, Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

4 Therefore it came to pass after nine years of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem and pitched camp against it and built forts against it round about.

5 So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
