These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher,[a] the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
Ver. 35-37. These are the sons of Ephrain, after their families, &c.] Which were but three, the Shuthalhite, the Bachrite, and the Tahanite, only from the former sprung another family, called the Eranite; the number of the whole was 32,500; there was a decrease in this tribe of 8000.

And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

These are the families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.
