29 And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

Ezekiel 40:29

And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and
the arches thereof, according to these measures
These were at the gate of the inner court; and so they stand in Cocceius's tables; and were of the same measure with the little chambers, posts, and arches, that were at the several outward gates before described; and design the churches and members of them as spiritual worshippers, who, besides the outward form, have the power of godliness: and there were windows in it, and in the arches thereof round about;
these are not said to be narrow, as the other; which perhaps may denote the greater and more increasing light of the churches, ministers, and members: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad:
that is, the space or portico where these chambers were; and this was the same measure with that where the other chambers were, ( Ezekiel 40:13 Ezekiel 40:15 ) .
