26 He went in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat and in his sins that he caused Israel to sin by provoking Yahweh the God of Israel with their idols.

1 Kings 16:26

For he walked in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, in his
sin wherewith he made Israel to sin
Worshipping the calves;

to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger with their vanities;
these, and whatsoever idols else were worshipped by him, see ( 1 Kings 16:13 ) .

28 Omri slept with his ancestors, and he was buried in Samaria, and Ahab his son became king in his place.
