1 And [then] Moses summoned all [of] Israel and said to them, "Hear, Israel, the rules and the regulations that I [am] speaking in your ears {today}, and you shall learn them, and {you must observe them diligently}.

Deuteronomy 5:1

And Moses called all Israel
The heads of the various tribes, and elders of the people, as he had on occasion been used to do; unless it can be thought that at different times he repeated the following laws to separate parties and bodies of them, until they had all heard them:

and said unto them, hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I
speak in your ears this day;
the laws, moral, ceremonial, and judicial, which he was about to repeat, and afresh declare unto them, being what they had all a concern in, and under obligation to regard.

1 And [then] Moses summoned all [of] Israel and said to them, "Hear, Israel, the rules and the regulations that I [am] speaking in your ears {today}, and you shall learn them, and {you must observe them diligently}.
2 Yahweh our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.
3 [It was] not with our ancestors [that] Yahweh made this covenant, [but with] these [of] us [who are] here alive today.
4 {Face to face} Yahweh spoke with you at the mountain from the midst of the fire.
5 I was standing {between Yahweh and you} at that time to report to you the word of Yahweh, for you were afraid because of {the presence of} the fire, and [so] you [did] not go up the mountain. {He said},
