Job 32:10

10 Therefore I say, 'Listen to me; let me also declare my knowledge myself.'

Job 32:10 Meaning and Commentary

Job 32:10

Therefore I said, hearken to me
Thou O Job, and every one of you his friends, for the word is singular; though I am but a young man, yet if I have the Spirit of God, and am under the inspiration of the Almighty, I may be able to say something to you worth your hearing:

I also will show mine opinion;
for though for a while he was timorous and fearful of doing it, lest he should mistake and expose himself, yet having duly weighed and considered the above things, he was determined to do it.

Job 32:10 In-Context

8 "Truly, it [is] a spirit in a human being, and the breath of Shaddai teaches them.
9 [It is] not {the aged} [who] are wise, or [it is not] [the] elders [who] understand justice.
10 Therefore I say, 'Listen to me; let me also declare my knowledge myself.'
11 "Look, I waited for your words; I listened for your insight, until you searched out {what to say}.
12 And I directed my attention to you; and, look, there is no [one] for Job [who] refuted, answering his words among you.
