19 And [as for] the fat portions from the ox and from the ram (the fat tail and the layer of fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver),

Leviticus 9:19

And the fat of the bullock, and of the ram
Which in all offerings was the Lord's, and was burnt, see ( Leviticus 3:16 ) the rump;
or tail of the ram; which in those countries was very large, and had a great deal of fat upon it; (See Gill on Exodus 29:22) (See Gill on Leviticus 3:9) and that which covereth [the inwards];
called the "omentum": and the kidneys, and the caul [above] the liver;
and the fat that was upon each of these: Ben Gersom observes, that the kidneys and liver are mentioned last, to show that they were laid uppermost in waving (after directed to), that the owners might be stirred up, or moved by these things.

17 Then he presented the grain offering, and he filled his palm {with some of} it, and he turned it into smoke on the altar besides the morning's burnt offering.

18 Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the fellowship offerings that [are] for the people, and Aaron's sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it on the altar all around.

19 And [as for] the fat portions from the ox and from the ram (the fat tail and the layer of fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver),

20 they placed the fat portions on the breast sections, and he turned the fat portions into smoke on the altar.

21 Then Aaron waved the breast sections and the right upper thigh [as] a wave offering {before} Yahweh, [just] as Moses had commanded.
