Psalms 119:40

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts
After a greater degree of knowledge of them, and an opportunity of hearing them explained and enforced, and of yielding obedience to them; see ( Psalms 119:7 Psalms 119:20 Psalms 119:27 Psalms 119:30 ) ;

quicken me in thy righteousness:
in the way of righteousness, according to the word of righteousness, the Gospel, and with the righteousness of Christ revealed in it; and which is unto life, and quickens and comforts the heart, and from whence abundance of peace and joy flows.

38 Fulfill your word to your servant, which [is] to [bring about] a reverence for you.
39 Turn away my disgrace that I dread, for your ordinances [are] good.
40 Look, I have longed for your precepts; revive me in your righteousness.
41 Let your acts of loyal love also come to me, O Yahweh, your salvation according to your word.
42 Then I will have an answer [for the] one who taunts me, for I trust your word.
