Jeremiah 30:4

And these are the words that the Lord spake concerning Israel,
and concerning Judah.
] Which follow in this chapter and the next; first concerning Israel, the ten tribes; and then concerning the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin, even concerning all Israel; whereas, if this prophecy only respects the return from the captivity in Babylon, there is very little in it which concerns the ten tribes, or but a very few of them. The words may be rendered, "unto Israel, and unto Judah"; as being the persons to whom they were directed, as well as were the subjects of them.

2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Ecris dans un livre toutes les paroles que je t'ai dites.

3 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, où je ramènerai les captifs de mon peuple d'Israël et de Juda, dit l'Eternel; je les ramènerai dans le pays que j'ai donné à leurs pères, et ils le posséderont.

5 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Nous entendons des cris d'effroi; C'est l'épouvante, ce n'est pas la paix.

6 Informez-vous, et regardez si un mâle enfante! Pourquoi vois-je tous les hommes les mains sur leurs reins, Comme une femme en travail? Pourquoi tous les visages sont-ils devenus pâles?
