Psalms 107:29

He maketh the storm a calm
As Christ did by a word speaking, ( Mark 4:39 ) .

So that the waves thereof are still;
and roar and toss no more, but subside; and the sea becomes smooth and quiet, its raging ceases: the angry sea, as Horace F16 calls it, becomes calm and peaceable; see ( Psalms 89:9 ) .

28 Dans leur détresse, ils crièrent à l'Eternel, Et il les délivra de leurs angoisses;
29 Il arrêta la tempête, ramena le calme, Et les ondes se turent.
30 Ils se réjouirent de ce qu'elles s'étaient apaisées, Et l'Eternel les conduisit au port désiré.
31 Qu'ils louent l'Eternel pour sa bonté, Et pour ses merveilles en faveur des fils de l'homme!
