2 Chronicles 24:30

And the chief of the house of the father of the families of
the Kohathites [shall be] Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
] The same man, who, with his brother Mishael, carried Nadab and Abihu out of the camp, and buried them, ( Leviticus 10:4 Leviticus 10:5 ) ; he descended from the last and youngest of the families of the Kohathites; and some think this was one reason at least of Korah's dissatisfaction, and of his entering into a conspiracy against Moses and Aaron, because one of a younger family of his house was preferred to this dignity before him.

1 Joas war sieben Jahre alt, da er König ward, und regierte vierzig Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Zibja von Beer-Seba.
2 Und Joas tat, was dem HERRN wohl gefiel, solange der Priester Jojada lebte.
3 Und Jojada gab ihm zwei Weiber, und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
4 Darnach nahm sich Joas vor das Haus des HERRN zu erneuern, {~} {~} {~}
5 und versammelte die Priester und Leviten und sprach zu ihnen: Ziehet aus zu allen Städten Juda's und sammelt Geld aus ganz Israel, das Haus eures Gottes zu bessern jährlich, und eilet, solches zu tun. Aber die Leviten eilten nicht. {~} {~}
