Mark 7:20

And he said
Continued to say in his discourse; though this is left but in the Syriac version;

that which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man;
meaning, not his excrements, which were unclean by the law, ( Deuteronomy 23:13 ) but what comes out of his heart, by his mouth; or is expressed in action, as appears by what follows; (See Gill on Matthew 15:18).

18 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Seid ihr denn auch so unverständig? Vernehmet ihr noch nicht, daß alles, was außen ist und in den Menschen geht, das kann ihn nicht gemein machen?
19 Denn es geht nicht in sein Herz, sondern in den Bauch, und geht aus durch den natürlichen Gang, der alle Speise ausfegt.
20 Und er sprach: Was aus dem Menschen geht, das macht den Menschen gemein;
21 denn von innen, aus dem Herzen der Menschen, gehen heraus böse Gedanken; Ehebruch, Hurerei, Mord,
22 Dieberei, Geiz, Schalkheit, List, Unzucht, Schalksauge, Gotteslästerung, Hoffart, Unvernunft.
