Proverbs 18:13

He that answereth a matter before he heareth [it]
Who is impatient, and cannot wait to hear it out, but breaks in upon the speaker before he has finished what he has to say; or is rash and precipitate, and returns an answer at once, without weighing and considering, and thoroughly understanding, what is said: it [is] folly and shame unto him;
his answer must be a foolish one, and bring shame and confusion upon him; men should be "swift to hear", and "slow to speak", ( James 1:9 ) .

11 Das Gut des Reichen ist ihm eine feste Stadt und wie hohe Mauern in seinem Dünkel.
12 Wenn einer zu Grunde gehen soll, wird sein Herz zuvor stolz; und ehe man zu Ehren kommt, muß man zuvor leiden.
13 Wer antwortet ehe er hört, dem ist's Narrheit und Schande.
14 Wer ein fröhlich Herz hat, der weiß sich in seinem Leiden zu halten; wenn aber der Mut liegt, wer kann's tragen?
15 Ein verständiges Herz weiß sich vernünftig zu halten; und die Weisen hören gern, wie man vernünftig handelt.
