1 Chronicles 4:1

The sons of Judah: Pharez
The posterity of Judah in the line of Pharez, for he only is mentioned:

Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
Hezron was the son of Pharez, and Carmi is supposed to be Chelubai, or Caleb, the son of Hezron; and Hur the son of Caleb; and Shobal was the son of the second Caleb the son of Hur; see ( 1 Chronicles 2:5 1 Chronicles 2:9 1 Chronicles 2:19 1 Chronicles 2:50 ) .

1 And the sons of Juda; Phares, Esrom, and Charmi, and Or, Subal,
2 and Rada his son; and Subal begot Jeth; and Jeth begot Achimai, and Laad: these the generations of the Arathites.
3 And these the sons of Aetam; Jezrael and Jesman, and Jebdas: and their sister's name Eselebbon.
4 And Phanuel the father of Gedor, and Jazer the father of Osan: these the sons of Or, the first-born of Ephratha, the father of Baethalaen.
5 And Asur the father of Thecoe had two wives, Aoda and Thoada.
