24 "If a man sleeps with her and her menstrual blood gets on him, he is unclean for seven days and every bed on which he lies becomes unclean.

Leviticus 15:24 Meaning and Commentary

Leviticus 15:24

And if any man lie with her at all
Not presumptuously but ignorantly, as Aben Ezra observes; for he was guilty of cutting off, that lay with her wilfully, ( Leviticus 20:18 ) ; and her flowers be upon her;
or, "her separation" F11, her monthly courses not being ceased: he shall be unclean seven days;
and be excluded from all conversation civil and religious: and all the bed whereon she lieth shall be unclean;
that and every thing upon it; and this uncleanness also lasted seven days, as Aben Ezra notes, and defiled others, though it is not written.

Leviticus 15:24 In-Context

24 "If a man sleeps with her and her menstrual blood gets on him, he is unclean for seven days and every bed on which he lies becomes unclean.
25 "If a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, but not at the time of her monthly period, or has a discharge that continues beyond the time of her period, she is unclean the same as during the time of her period.
26 Every bed on which she lies during the time of the discharge and everything on which she sits becomes unclean the same as in her monthly period.
