Psalms 18:24 Meaning and Commentary

Psalms 18:24

Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my
righteousness
Having proved and supported this proposition by the above reasons, it is repeated, for confirmation's sake;

according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight;
this phrase, "in his eyesight", is here added, to show that the righteousness of Christ was clean, pure, and spotless in the sight of God; in the eye of divine justice: hence those that are clothed with it are holy and unblamable, and irreprovable in his sight, ( Colossians 1:22 ) .

Psalms 18:24 In-Context

22 Every day I review the ways he works; I try not to miss a trick.
23 I feel put back together, and I'm watching my step.
24 God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.
25 The good people taste your goodness, The whole people taste your health,
26 The true people taste your truth, The bad ones can't figure you out.
