Zechariah 8:20 Meaning and Commentary

Zechariah 8:20

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, [It shall] yet [come to
pass]
This is another thing that shall certainly be accomplished: that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities;
in the Gentile world; they shall come and hear the word, believe in Christ, and join together in a Gospel church state; as they did at Antioch, Thessalonica, Corinth, and many other places: Ben Melech says this shall be in the days of the Messiah; and so it has been in the days of the true Messiah Jesus, and will be again in the latter day.

18 Again I received a Message from God-of-the-Angel-Armies:
19 "The days of mourning set for the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months will be turned into days of feasting for Judah - celebration and holiday. Embrace truth! Love peace!"
20 A Message from God-of-the-Angel-Armies:
21 The leaders will confer with one another: 'Shouldn't we try to get in on this? Get in on God's blessings? Pray to God-of-the-Angel-Armies? What's keeping us? Let's go!'
22 "Lots of people, powerful nations - they'll come to Jerusalem looking for what they can get from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, looking to get a blessing from God."
