2 Timothy 3

``Difficult Times Will Come"

1 But realize this, that 1in the last days difficult times will come.
5 holding to a form of 17godliness, although they have 18denied its power; 19Avoid such men as these.
6 For among them are those who 20enter into households and captivate 21weak women weighed down with sins, led on by 22various impulses,
7 always learning and never able to 23come to the knowledge of the truth.
9 But they will not make further * progress; for their 27folly will be obvious to all, just 28as Jannes's and Jambres's folly was also.
11 31persecutions, and 32sufferings, such as happened to me at 33Antioch, at 34Iconium and at 35Lystra; what 36persecutions I endured, and out of them all 37the Lord rescued me!
12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus 38will be persecuted.
13 But evil men and impostors 39will proceed from bad to worse, 40deceiving and being deceived.
14 You, however, 41continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
15 and that 42from childhood you have known 43the sacred writings which are able to 44give you the wisdom that leads to 45salvation through faith which is in 46Christ Jesus.
17 so that 48the man of God may be adequate, 49equipped for every good work.
