23He said, "O LORD , the God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath , keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart,
47if they take thought in the land where they have been taken captive, and repent and make supplication to You in the land of those who have taken them captive, saying, 'We have sinned and have committed iniquity, we have acted wickedly ';
66On the eighth day he sent the people away and they blessed the king. Then they went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had shown to David His servant and to Israel His people.
3The LORD said to him, "I have heard your prayer and your supplication, which you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built by putting My name there forever , and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually .
26Jeroboam said in his heart, "Now the kingdom will return to the house of David.27"If this people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will return to their lord , even to Rehoboam king of Judah; and they will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah."
33Then he went up to the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised in his own heart; and he instituted a feast for the sons of Israel and went up to the altar to burn incense.
