12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.
22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?"
16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
27 John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.
34 "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. 35 "The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.
5 So He came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph;
7 There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink."
10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
12 "You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?"
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." 15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw."
22 "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,
26 "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; 27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
36 "But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish -the very works that I do -testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.
27 "Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal."
31 "Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, 'HE GAVE THEM BREAD OUT OF HEAVEN TO EAT.' " 32 Jesus then said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. 33 "For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world." 34 Then they said to Him, "Lord , always give us this bread."
37 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.
39 "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.
51 "I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh." 52 Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?"
65 And He was saying, "For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father."
19 "Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why do you seek to kill Me?"
22 "For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers ), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man.
24 So a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, "Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner."
28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
22 "Even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You."
57 Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he was to report it, so that they might seize Him.
5 "Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and given to poor people?"
49 "For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.
3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,
15 "For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.
26 Jesus then answered, "That is the one for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him." So when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
29 For some were supposing, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus was saying to him, "Buy the things we have need of for the feast "; or else, that he should give something to the poor.
34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
16 "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;
27 "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
16 "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
23 "In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.
2 even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life.
4 "I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.
6 "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 "Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; 8 for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. 9 "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours;
11 "I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. 12 "While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.
14 "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
22 "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;
24 "Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
9 to fulfill the word which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one."
11 So Jesus said to Peter, "Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?"
22 When He had said this, one of the officers standing nearby struck Jesus, saying, "Is that the way You answer the high priest?"
3 and they began to come up to Him and say, "Hail, King of the Jews!" and to give Him slaps in the face.
9 and he entered into the Praetorium again and said to Jesus, "Where are You from?" But Jesus gave him no answer.
11 Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."
13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and the fish likewise.
