14but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."15The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw."
36"But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish -the very works that I do -testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.
31"Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, 'HE GAVE THEM BREAD OUT OF HEAVEN TO EAT.' "32Jesus then said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven.33"For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."34Then they said to Him, "Lord , always give us this bread."
51"I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh."52Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?"
28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.29"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
6"I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.7"Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You;8for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.9"I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours;
11"I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.12"While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.
