48Nathanael said to Him, "How do You know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."49Nathanael answered Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel."50Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these."
19Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
33They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free '?"34Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.
32Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?"33The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God."34Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS '?
7Jesus answered and said to him, "What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter ."8Peter said to Him, "Never shall You wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."
22When He had said this, one of the officers standing nearby struck Jesus, saying, "Is that the way You answer the high priest?"23Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken wrongly, testify of the wrong; but if rightly, why do you strike Me?"
34Jesus answered, "Are you saying this on your own initiative, or did others tell you about Me?"35Pilate answered, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered You to me; what have You done?"36Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."37Therefore Pilate said to Him, "So You are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
