20 But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
24 And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife,
13 Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him."
15 He remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: "OUT OF EGYPT I CALLED MY SON."
19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said,
3 For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said, "THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD , MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT!' "
7 Jesus said to him, "On the other hand, it is written, 'YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.' "
10 Then Jesus said to him, "Go, Satan! For it is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.' "
33 "Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, 'YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD .'
24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord , Lord ,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord , Lord , did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
2 And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, "Lord , if You are willing, You can make me clean."
6 and saying, "Lord , my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented."
8 But the centurion said, "Lord , I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
21 Another of the disciples said to Him, "Lord , permit me first to go and bury my father."
25 And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, "Save us, Lord ; we are perishing!"
28 When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord ."
38 "Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
24 "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master. 25 "It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of his household!
25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.
8 "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
27 "The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'
28 Peter said to Him, "Lord , if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord , save me!"
22 And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord , Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed."
25 But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, "Lord , help me!"
27 But she said, "Yes, Lord ; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "God forbid it, Lord ! This shall never happen to You."
4 Peter said to Jesus, "Lord , it is good for us to be here; if You wish, I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
15 "Lord , have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and is very ill ; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.
21 Then Peter came and said to Him, "Lord , how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
25 "But since he did not have the means to repay, his lord commanded him to be sold, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and repayment to be made.
27 "And the lord of that slave felt compassion and released him and forgave him the debt.
31 "So when his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply grieved and came and reported to their lord all that had happened. 32 "Then summoning him, his lord said to him, 'You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.
34 "And his lord , moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him.
8 "When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, 'Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last group to the first.'
30 And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, "Lord , have mercy on us, Son of David!" 31 The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, "Lord , Son of David, have mercy on us!"
33 They said to Him, "Lord , we want our eyes to be opened."
3 "If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord has need of them,' and immediately he will send them."
9 The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David; BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD ; Hosanna in the highest!"
30 "The man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered, 'I will, sir '; but he did not go.
40 "Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?"
43 He said to them, "Then how does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord ,' saying, 44 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD , "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET "'? 45 "If David then calls Him 'Lord ,' how is He his son?"
39 "For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD !' "
42 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
45 "Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 "Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
48 "But if that evil slave says in his heart, 'My master is not coming for a long time,'
50 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know,
11 "Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord , lord , open up for us.'
18 "But he who received the one talent went away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 "Now after a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them. 20 "The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, 'Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have gained five more talents.' 21 "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.' 22 "Also the one who had received the two talents came up and said, 'Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more talents.' 23 "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.' 24 "And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, 'Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you scattered no seed.
26 "But his master answered and said to him, 'You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed.
37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord , when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?
44 "Then they themselves also will answer, 'Lord , when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?'
22 Being deeply grieved, they each one began to say to Him, "Surely not I, Lord ?"
63 and said, "Sir, we remember that when He was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I am to rise again.'
2 And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.
