Young's Literal Translation
Then he said, "Please do not leave us, inasmuch as you know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you will be as eyes for us.
The LORD therefore said to Moses, "Gather for Me seventy men from the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and their officers and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you.
He said, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD , shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream.
'Your children, however, whom you said would become a prey -I will bring them in, and they will know the land which you have rejected.
'According to the number of days which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day you shall bear your guilt a year, even forty years, and you will know My opposition.
and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, "Tomorrow morning the LORD will show who is His, and who is holy, and will bring him near to Himself; even the one whom He will choose, He will bring near to Himself.
Moses said, "By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these deeds; for this is not my doing .
"But if the LORD brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned the LORD ."
From Kadesh Moses then sent messengers to the king of Edom: "Thus your brother Israel has said, 'You know all the hardship that has befallen us;
"Now, therefore, please come, curse this people for me since they are too mighty for me; perhaps I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed."
"Now please, you also stay here tonight, and I will find out what else the LORD will speak to me."
Balaam said to the angel of the LORD , "I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back."
The oracle of him who hears the words of God, And knows the knowledge of the Most High, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, yet having his eyes uncovered.
"Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man intimately .
"But all the girls who have not known man intimately , spare for yourselves.
and of human beings, of the women who had not known man intimately , all the persons were 32,000 .
"But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD , and be sure your sin will find you out.
