Young's Literal Translation
"I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD : He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;
If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?"
And my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.
I will sing to the LORD , Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Then the earth shook and quaked; And the foundations of the mountains were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry.
He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.
Though they intended evil against You And devised a plot, They will not succeed.
"Commit yourself to the LORD ; let Him deliver him; Let Him rescue him, because He delights in him."
Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb; You made me trust when upon my mother's breasts.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me
Because they do not regard the works of the LORD Nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.
Blessed be the LORD , Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.
When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.
For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name.
When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.
The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, Because they take refuge in Him.
"I have become mute, I do not open my mouth, Because it is You who have done it.
By this I know that You are pleased with me, Because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.
Yet You have crushed us in a place of jackals And covered us with the shadow of death.
Then the King will desire your beauty. Because He is your Lord , bow down to Him.
Do not be afraid when a man becomes rich, When the glory of his house is increased;
For when he dies he will carry nothing away; His glory will not descend after him.
Though while he lives he congratulates himself - And though men praise you when you do well for yourself-
I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.
There they were in great fear where no fear had been; For God scattered the bones of him who encamped against you; You put them to shame, because God had rejected them.
The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
Do not trust in oppression And do not vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You.
Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; Dishonor has covered my face.
My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.
When my heart was embittered And I was pierced within,
"When I select an appointed time, It is I who judge with equity.
I shall remember the deeds of the LORD ; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
Because they did not believe in God And did not trust in His salvation.
Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, O LORD , have helped me and comforted me.
For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it passes by, Or as a watch in the night.
"Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
My heart has been smitten like grass and has withered away, Indeed, I forget to eat my bread.
Surely Your servants find pleasure in her stones And feel pity for her dust.
When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.
Because they were rebellious against His Spirit, He spoke rashly with his lips.
Because they had rebelled against the words of God And spurned the counsel of the Most High.
Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired haven.
But You, O GOD, the Lord , deal kindly with me for Your name's sake; Because Your lovingkindness is good, deliver me;
I love the LORD , because He hears My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
I believed when I said, "I am greatly afflicted."
O LORD , surely I am Your servant, I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid, You have loosed my bonds.
All nations surrounded me; In the name of the LORD I will surely cut them off.
They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; In the name of the LORD I will surely cut them off.
They surrounded me like bees; They were extinguished as a fire of thorns; In the name of the LORD I will surely cut them off.
May those who fear You see me and be glad, Because I wait for Your word.
Though I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.
I understand more than the aged, Because I have observed Your precepts.
My zeal has consumed me, Because my adversaries have forgotten Your words.
Consider how I love Your precepts; Revive me, O LORD , according to Your lovingkindness.
I am for peace, but when I speak, They are for war.
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate.
When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, You will be happy and it will be well with you.
All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O LORD , When they have heard the words of Your mouth.
For though the LORD is exalted, Yet He regards the lowly, But the haughty He knows from afar.
