16 Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites.
17 Shem's sons were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. Aram's sons were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, who was the father of Eber.
