And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen,
&c.] He had seven sons, ( 1 Chronicles 26:1-3 ) and therefore must have eleven brethren or kinsmen.

7 Shemaiah's sons were Othni, Rephael, Obed, Elzabad, Elihu, and Semakiah. Elihu, and Semakiah were skilled workers.
