My sheep hear my voice
The voice of Christ in his Gospel, both externally and internally; (See Gill on John 10:4), (See Gill on John 10:16); and since therefore these Jews did not, it was a plain case they were not of his sheep:
and I know them; (See Gill on John 10:14); but Christ knew not these as the elect of God, or as the Father's gift to him, and therefore they could not be his sheep:
and they follow me;
both in the exercise of grace, and in the discharge of duty, and whithersoever he the good shepherd leads them; (See Gill on John 10:3), (See Gill on John 10:4). But now, whereas these Jews did not follow Christ, but turned their backs on him, and rejected him, it was notorious that they were none of his sheep; but both happy and safe are those persons, that are the sheep of Christ, as appears from what is next said of them.

In this episode, Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas broadcast from their new studio, now airing Monday to Friday, and continue the Fish Gate with the biology of hearing. They explain that identity is formed by listening, not speaking, and that obedience changes not what we hear but how we hear. Using the fish's lateral line, which senses the movement of water, they picture the Holy Spirit stirring within us for inner transformation, and they contrast the outer ear, which hears circumstances, with the inner ear. They distinguish sheep from fish, walk through Jesus' call to come, follow, and abide, and note that the Hebrew word for hearing is tied to obeying. They also stress fine-tuning, since God, the enemy, and our own thoughts all come through one channel.

In this 3rd message in the "Back to the Basics" series, Adrian Rogers shares more good news — how you can be sure you cannot lose your salvation. You're not "holding onto God" — He's holding on to you. You cannot fall from His strong hand.
