Chronicles 16:7 In-Context

Asaph was the leader of those Levites. Zechariah was next. Then came Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They played the lyres and harps. Asaph played the cymbals.
The priests Benaiah and Jahaziel blew the trumpets. They blew them at regular times in front of the ark of the covenant of God.
That day was the first time David gave Asaph and his helpers this psalm of thanks to the Lord.
Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what he has done.
Sing to him. Sing praise to him. Tell about all of the wonderful things he has done.
