Exodus 40:29

29 He set the altar for burnt offerings near the entrance to the holy tent, the Tent of Meeting. He sacrificed burnt offerings and grain offerings on it. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.

Exodus 40:29

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the
tabernacle of the tent of the congregation
Of which see ( Exodus 40:6 )

and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering;
either the burnt offering the meat offering of the daily sacrifice, as Jarchi interprets it, see ( Exodus 28:38-42 ) or it may be rather the burnt offering and meat offering of the consecration of Aaron and his sons, ( Exodus 29:1 Exodus 29:2 Exodus 29:18 Exodus 29:23 )

as the Lord commanded Moses;
in the places referred to.
