Numbers 7:88

88 The leaders brought 24 oxen, 60 rams, 60 male goats and 60 male lambs that were a year old. That was the total number of animals that were sacrificed as the friendship offering. Those were the offerings they brought to set the altar apart. The leaders brought them after the altar was anointed with oil.

Numbers 7:88 Meaning and Commentary

Numbers 7:88

And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings
[were] twenty and four bullocks
Each prince bringing two:

the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty;
five of each being brought by every prince; so that the whole number of beasts for peace offerings only, which were to feast with, were two hundred four;

this [was] the dedication of the altar after that it was anointed;
this clearly shows, that it was not the precise day the altar was anointed the dedication was made, but some little time after; even that the first prince brought his presents and offerings for the dedication of it.

89 Moses entered the Tent of Meeting. He wanted to speak with the Lord. There Moses heard the LORD talking to him. The LORD's voice was speaking to him from between the two cherubim.
