
Under the Law, Moses was the mediator between God and the people. For us as Christians, Jesus is our mediator. He represents us before the Father, and He is the perfect representation of God for us.
Three times thou shall keep a feast unto me in the year.
] The feast of the passover, on the fourteenth of the month Nisan or March; and the feast of weeks or pentecost fifty days after that; and the feast of tabernacles on the fifteenth day of Tisri or September.

The Promised Land was God’s free gift to the Israelites. They didn't earn it; they received it by grace. That’s like salvation for the Christian. It’s a free gift, but maturity is a process of daily dependence upon God.

There are some interesting parallels between Israel and the church. As believers, we are not bound by the law, but we obey God’s law because of our love for Jesus Christ.
