Today we’ll be continuing pastor Damian Kyle’s series on the 7 I Am Statements of Christ, found in John’s gospel. When Jesus declared, “I am the good shepherd,” He was communicating His care and concern for us. Just like what a shepherd does for a flock of sheep! Each of us need a good shepherd in life and Jesus is the only one qualified to do so. With that said, we need to be aware of hirelings, who have very selfish motivations.

Bible teaching from the book of John chapter 10 verses 11-18.

In Christ we are truly blessed beyond measure. It’s nice to know we don’t have to wander aimlessly through life, but we have the Good Shepherd to guide and take care of us. That’s a truth to cling to in troubling times like these. Today the plan is to cover John chapter ten verses 11-18. You might immediately recognize this as the place where Jesus refers to Himself as the Good Shepherd.
