
Call unto me, and I will answer thee
This is spoken not to Jerusalem, and the inhabitants of it; but to the prophet, encouraging him to seek the Lord by prayer, promising an answer to him. So the Targum,
``pray before me, and I will receive thy prayer:''and show thee great and mighty things;

Communication is essential in every relationship. Yet the greatest relationship we can ever have — our relationship with God — is also built through communication.Today on The Healing Word, Pastor Jack Morris begins a series called The Power of Prayer. In this opening message, we’re reminded that prayer is not complicated or mysterious. It is simply the child of God speaking with a loving Father who delights in hearing our voice.

Hebrews 11:6 says this, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exsists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him!" God rewards those who earnestly seek Him!


God's creative power is personal. My prayers activate His plan of love and grace.

This sermon comes from the book of Jeremiah, chapter 33 verse 3. Sometimes people can have situations and circumstances come about that will have them having a down day. It is good to have someone come and give an encouragement to pray.

Prayer is not pious contemplation. It's the most powerful thing you can do--an act of warfare against the enemy of our souls. You can experience God's power when you ask, "Lord, teach me to pray." Prayer is a missile that can be fired from any spot!
