32 Entonces el rey David ordenó: «Llamen al sacerdote Sadoc, al profeta Natán y a Benaía, hijo de Joiada».

1 Kings 1:32

And King David said, call me Zadok the priest
Not Abiathar the high priest, for he had joined Adonijah; and besides Zadok was David's favourite priest, and for him the high priesthood was designed, as it was in a little time translated to him:

and Nathan the prophet;
who very probably went out of the room when Bathsheba was called in: and

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada;
the captain of his guards:

and they came before the king;
who it is very likely sat up in his bed, and they stood around him.

30 tu hijo Salomón será el próximo rey y se sentará en mi trono este mismo día, tal como te lo juré delante del Señor
, Dios de Israel.

31 Entonces Betsabé se inclinó ante el rey con el rostro en tierra y exclamó:
—¡Que viva por siempre mi señor, el rey David!

32 Entonces el rey David ordenó: «Llamen al sacerdote Sadoc, al profeta Natán y a Benaía, hijo de Joiada».
Cuando ellos llegaron a la presencia del rey,

33 él les dijo:
—Lleven a Salomón y a mis funcionarios hasta el manantial de Gihón. Salomón irá montado en mi mula.

34 Una vez allí, el sacerdote Sadoc y el profeta Natán lo ungirán rey de Israel. Hagan sonar el cuerno de carnero y griten: “¡Que viva el rey Salomón!”.
