2 Kings 16:12

And when the king was come from Damascus, the king saw the
altar
Looked at it, and liked it, being exactly according to the pattern he had sent:

and the king approached the altar, and offered thereon;
either by a priest, or it may be in his own person, having no regard to the laws and appointments of God, and especially as his sacrifices were not offered to him, but to the gods of Damascus and Syria, ( 2 Chronicles 28:23 ) .

10 Luego el rey Acaz se dirigi贸 a Damasco a encontrarse con Tiglat-pileser, rey de Asiria. Mientras estaba all铆, observ贸 detenidamente el altar y le envi贸 un modelo del altar al sacerdote Ur铆as, junto con el dise帽o bien detallado.
11 Ur铆as sigui贸 las instrucciones del rey y construy贸 uno igual, y lo tuvo listo antes de que el rey volviera de Damasco.
12 Cuando el rey regres贸, inspeccion贸 el altar e hizo sacrificios sobre 茅l.
13 Present贸 una ofrenda quemada y una ofrenda de grano, derram贸 una ofrenda l铆quida y roci贸 sobre el altar la sangre de ofrendas de paz.
14 Luego el rey Acaz quit贸 el antiguo altar de bronce de su lugar al frente del templo del Se帽or
, entre la entrada y el altar nuevo, y lo coloc贸 en el lado norte del altar nuevo.
