15 Lo hago tanto contigo, que hoy estás en la presencia del Señor
tu Dios, como también con las generaciones futuras, que no están aquí hoy.

Deuteronomy 29:15

But with [him] that standeth here with us this day before the
Lord our God
Who are before specified according to their dignity, age, sex, and station of life; or rather, "but [as] with him that standeth"

and so with [him] that [is] not here with us this day;
detained at home by illness and indisposition of body, or by one providence or another; so that they could not come out of their tents, and make their appearance before the tabernacle; though Jarchi interprets this of the people of future generations.

13 Hoy, al hacer el pacto, él te confirmará como su pueblo y te reafirmará que él es tu Dios, tal como te lo prometió a ti y se lo juró a tus antepasados Abraham, Isaac y Jacob.

14 »Pero no es solo contigo que hago este pacto con sus maldiciones.

15 Lo hago tanto contigo, que hoy estás en la presencia del Señor
tu Dios, como también con las generaciones futuras, que no están aquí hoy.

16 »Tú recuerdas cómo vivíamos en la tierra de Egipto y cómo anduvimos por el territorio de naciones enemigas cuando salimos de allí.

17 Tú viste las prácticas detestables de esas naciones y sus ídolos
de madera, de piedra, de plata y de oro.
