16 La parte superior del altar es cuadrada y mide seis metros con cuarenta centímetros de lado.

Ezekiel 43:16

And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad
The length of it, from east to west, was twelve cubits; and the breadth, from north to south, was the same; so that it was a proper foursquare, as follows: Christ the altar, or the doctrine of his sacrifice and satisfaction for the sins of men, is the doctrine of the twelve apostles of Christ, and embraced by the twelve times twelve, the 144,000 that belong unto him: square in the four squares thereof;
as the altar in the tabernacle, and Solomon's temple, were, ( Exodus 27:1 ) ( 2 Chronicles 4:1 ) , denoting the largeness of Christ's sacrifice, the perfection of it, and its stability and permanency, to take away the sin, of his people.

14 desde la zanja, el altar se eleva un metro con diez centímetros
hasta una saliente inferior de cincuenta y tres centímetros
de ancho, que rodea el altar. Desde la saliente inferior, el altar se eleva dos metros con diez centímetros
hasta la saliente superior, también de cincuenta y tres centímetros de ancho.

15 La parte superior del altar —la plataforma para el fuego— se eleva otros dos metros con diez centímetros y tiene un cuerno hacia arriba en cada una de las cuatro esquinas.

16 La parte superior del altar es cuadrada y mide seis metros con cuarenta centímetros de lado.

17 La saliente superior también forma un cuadrado de siete metros con cuarenta centímetros de lado,
tiene una zanja de cincuenta y tres centímetros, un reborde de veintisiete centímetros
por alrededor y escalones para subir al altar por el lado oriental».

18 Luego me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, esto dice el Señor
Soberano: cuando se construya el altar, estas serán las ordenanzas para quemar las ofrendas y rociar la sangre.
