13 No se les permite acercarse a mí para ministrar como sacerdotes. Tampoco se les permite tocar ninguno de mis objetos santos ni las ofrendas santas, pues deberán cargar con la vergüenza de todos los pecados detestables que cometieron.

Ezekiel 44:13

And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of
priest unto me
To bring the sacrifice to the altar, and offer it there; to sprinkle the blood, or burn the fat, or the incense; to intercede for the people, or bless them; see ( Hosea 4:6 ) : nor to come near to any of my holy things in the most holy place;
to do any business, either in the holy or in the most holy place; to offer holy things, or eat of them. The sense is, that these degraded ministers, who had sinned so greatly, and had fallen so foully, though restored by repentance; yet should not preach the word, nor administer any ordinance: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have
committed;
that is, the shame of their abominations, of their abominable principles and practices, which they have held and maintained; being publicly disgraced and degraded, and so notoriously distinguished.

11 Aun así podrán servir como guardias del templo y porteros, podrán matar los animales para las ofrendas quemadas y estar presentes para ayudar al pueblo.

12 Sin embargo, incitaron a mi pueblo a rendir culto a ídolos e hicieron que los israelitas cayeran en un pecado muy grave. Por eso hice un juramento solemne de que tendrán que sufrir las consecuencias por sus pecados, dice el Señor
Soberano.

14 Servirán como cuidadores del templo a cargo del trabajo de mantenimiento y las tareas generales.

15 »”Sin embargo, los sacerdotes levitas de la familia de Sadoc continuaron sirviendo fielmente en el templo cuando los israelitas me abandonaron para rendir culto a ídolos. Estos hombres servirán como ministros míos. Estarán en mi presencia y ofrecerán la grasa y la sangre de los sacrificios, dice el Señor
Soberano.
