36 Escuchen los gritos desesperados de los pastores.
Los líderes del rebaño gimen en su desesperación
porque el Señor
está arruinando sus pastos.

Jeremiah 25:36

And a voice of the cry of the shepherds
Or of the kings, as the Targum: and an howling of the principal of the flock, [shall be heard];
of the mighty of the people, as the same; what is before called for is here represented as in fact, because of the certainty of it: for the Lord hath spoiled their pastures:
their kingdoms, provinces, cities, and towns; or their people, as the Targum, among whom they lived, and by whom they were supported; still keeping up the metaphor of the shepherd and flock. This the Lord is said to do because he suffered it to be done, yea, ordered it to be done, as a punishment for their sins.

34 ¡Lloren y giman, pastores malvados!
¡Revuélquense en el polvo, líderes del rebaño!
Ha llegado el momento de su matanza;
ustedes caerán y se harán añicos como vaso frágil.

35 No encontrarán lugar donde esconderse;
no habrá forma de escapar.

36 Escuchen los gritos desesperados de los pastores.
Los líderes del rebaño gimen en su desesperación
porque el Señor
está arruinando sus pastos.

37 Debido al gran enojo del Señor
los prados tranquilos se convertirán en tierra baldía.

38 Él salió de su guarida como un león fuerte en busca de su presa,
y la tierra quedará desolada
por la espada del enemigo
y por la ira feroz del Señor
