3 La puerta del Pescado la construyeron los hijos de Senaa. Colocaron las vigas, levantaron las puertas e instalaron sus cerrojos y barras.

Nehemiah 3:3

But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build
So called, because fish was brought from the sea coasts through it, and near it was the fish market; this also was southward, according to Dr. Lightfoot ^F24; others say northward; some say it led to the sea of Galilee, Jordan, and all the east and north country: but it is most likely to be westward towards the Mediterranean sea, Tyre, and Joppa, from whence fish were brought; and Rauwolff says ^F25 it is still standing towards the west, behind Mount Sion, and over against Mount Gihon, see ( 2 Chronicles 33:14 ) he also says, this gate was called the gate of Hebron, because the road of Hebron went through it, which is about seven or eight hours' walking distant from it:

who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the
locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
completely finished it.

1 Reconstrucción de la muralla de Jerusalén
Entonces Eliasib, el sumo sacerdote, y los demás sacerdotes comenzaron a reconstruir la puerta de las Ovejas. La dedicaron y colocaron las puertas, levantaron la muralla hasta llegar a la torre de los Cien, la cual también dedicaron, y hasta la torre de Hananeel.

2 Trabajaron junto a ellos personas de la ciudad de Jericó, y más allá de ellos estaba Zacur, hijo de Imri.

3 La puerta del Pescado la construyeron los hijos de Senaa. Colocaron las vigas, levantaron las puertas e instalaron sus cerrojos y barras.

4 Meremot, hijo de Urías y nieto de Cos, reparó la siguiente sección de la muralla. A su lado estaban Mesulam, hijo de Berequías y nieto de Mesezabeel, y luego Sadoc, hijo de Baana.

5 Contiguo a ellos estaban los habitantes de Tecoa, aunque sus líderes se negaron a trabajar con los supervisores de la construcción.
