Salmos 119:146

146 A ti clamo; rescátame
para que pueda obedecer tus leyes.

Salmos 119:146 Meaning and Commentary

Psalms 119:146

I cried unto thee; save me
In his distress he cried and prayed to the Lord; and this was a principal and leading petition, that he would "save" him out of all his troubles and afflictions, and out of the hands of all his enemies; and with a temporal, spiritual, and eternal salvation which he knew he was able to do, and none else;

and I shall keep thy testimonies;
such salvation will affect my heart, and the sense of it influence and engage me to have the utmost regard to the word of God, its truths and doctrines, precepts and ordinances, so as carefully to observe them.

Oro con todo el corazón; ¡respóndeme, Señor
!
Obedeceré tus decretos.

para que pueda obedecer tus leyes.
147 Me levanto temprano, antes de que salga el sol;
clamo en busca de ayuda y pongo mi esperanza en tus palabras.
148 Me quedo despierto durante toda la noche,
pensando en tu promesa.
