7 Haznos volver a ti, oh Dios de los Ejércitos Celestiales;
haz que tu rostro brille sobre nosotros.

Turn us again, O God of hosts
The same with ( Psalms 80:3 ) , only instead of God there, here it is "the God of hosts"; the repetition of these words shows what was uppermost on the minds of God's people; what they were longing for, and most desirous of, namely, the light of God's countenance.

5 Nos diste tristeza por comida,
y nos hiciste beber lágrimas en abundancia.

6 Nos convertiste en el desprecio
de las naciones vecinas.
Nuestros enemigos nos tratan como si fuéramos una broma.

expulsaste a las naciones paganas y nos trasplantaste a tu tierra.
