12 Con la madera, el rey construy贸 escalones[a] para el templo del SE脩OR y para el palacio real, y tambi茅n hizo arpas y liras para los m煤sicos. Desde entonces, nunca m谩s se ha importado, ni ha vuelto a verse, tanto s谩ndalo como aquel d铆a.

1 Kings 10:12

And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house
of the Lord, and for the king's house
Or terraces, as in ( 2 Chronicles 9:11 ) , causeways; and means the ascent or causeway he made from his own house to the temple; the pavement of which, as Jarchi interprets the word here, was made of the wood of these trees; or the supports of it, or rather the rails on each side, on which men might stay themselves as they passed along, as Ben Gersom; and since this ascent was admired by the queen of Sheba, it is particularly observed what wood it was made of, and from whence it came:

harps also, and psalteries for singers;
these musical instruments were made of the same wood; Josephus F9 says of amber, and that their number was 400,000:

there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day;
not in the land of Israel, neither before nor since, see ( 2 Chronicles 9:11 ) .

10 Luego la reina le regal贸 a Salom贸n tres mil novecientos sesenta kilos de oro, piedras preciosas y gran cantidad de perfumes. Nunca m谩s llegaron a Israel tantos perfumes como los que la reina de Sab谩 le obsequi贸 al rey Salom贸n.
11 La flota de Hiram trajo desde Ofir, adem谩s del oro, grandes cargamentos de madera de s谩ndalo y de piedras preciosas.
12 Con la madera, el rey construy贸 escalones para el templo del SE脩OR y para el palacio real, y tambi茅n hizo arpas y liras para los m煤sicos. Desde entonces, nunca m谩s se ha importado, ni ha vuelto a verse, tanto s谩ndalo como aquel d铆a.
13 El rey Salom贸n, por su parte, le dio a la reina de Sab谩 todo lo que a ella se le antoj贸 pedirle, adem谩s de lo que 茅l, en su magnanimidad, ya le hab铆a regalado. Despu茅s de eso, la reina regres贸 a su pa铆s con todos los que la atend铆an.
14 La cantidad de oro que Salom贸n recib铆a anualmente llegaba a los veintid贸s mil kilos,
